Larry McCormick, MAI, CAE

Larry McCormick, graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1973. He obtained experience in the Banking and Savings and Loan industry over the next seven years. During his years at First Federal Savings & Loan, he was able to learn the appraisal business. He joined Midwest Appraisal in 1983, and helped develop that business over the next several years. In 1987, Larry formed a partnership with Judy Lamberjack and they purchased Midwest Appraisal. They have been owners ever since that time.

Over the past twenty years, Larry has attended many seminars and courses pertaining to the industry. He received his CAE designation in 1987 and his MAI Designation in 2010. He has been a General Certified appraiser, since the State legislature passed the requirement in Ohio. Larry has performed appraisals of a wide variety of properties. He specializes in commercial real estate, and has been active in appraising properties which involve acquisition and easement valuations. Some of the recent clients have been the City of Findlay, the City of Lima, the city of Avon, the Village of Pemberville, the Village of Pandora, the Villages of McComb and Jenera. He has also recently completed assignments in the valuation of agricultural, avigation, and right of way easements.

Larry continues to take continuing education courses and has taught the Real Estate Appraisal course for real estate licensing, at the University of Findlay.
