Easements

For the past several years, Midwest Appraisal has valued many types of properties for conservation easements that were used in part for compensation, as well as donation. Many of the easements were ordered through ODA's bid process. Besides ODA as the client, Midwest Appraisal has been engaged by universities and by foundations conserving farms.

Litigation

Both Larry E. McCormick, MAI, CAE and Judy Lamberjack, SRA have experience as expert witnesses. The Bio's under "About Us" go into detail. Experience litigation includes a wide variety of real estate types and situations. The types of appraisals used for court include school acquisitions for cities, ODOT and property owners that involve partial and full takes. Other types of city related acquisitions include reservoir expansion. For power companies right of way has been for transmission lines. Divorce attorneys have hired our staff for residential valuation.
